Aurora Borealis comes to Gilley Museum in Paint ‘n’ Sip

SOUTHWEST HARBOR— The Wendell Gilley Museum kicks off the 2026 Winter Session with a nature-inspired Paint ‘n’ Sip on Friday, Jan. 9 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Taught by Erika Elizabeth, it will be a fun evening of learning and art. Erika will guide participants step-by-step through the process of painting the aurora borealis. She will offer plenty of explanation and instruction along the way, but she encourages students to make the painting their own.

Sip on wine, tea or seltzer as part of this adults-only class, which is suitable for artists of all levels. All materials and beverages will be provided. The cost is $34 for Museum members and $42 for non-members. Spaces are limited. Sign up at www.wendellgilleymuseum.com/calendar.
