Debussy: Images Book 1 with McGhee Steiner

BAR HARBOR – On Wednesday, November 19th at 6:30pm at the Jesup Memorial Library, McGhee Steiner will perform Claude Debussy’s first book of Images, L. 110. This is a piano suite comprised of three movements: “Reflets dans l’eau” (Reflections in the Water), “Hommage à Rameau” (Homage to Rameau), and “Mouvement” (Movement). McGhee will also provide background info on the suite.
McGhee Steiner is a third-year student at College of the Atlantic. Originally from Maplewood, New Jersey, McGhee has studied the piano since the age of six. McGhee has benefited from the teaching gifts of Christina Spurling, Jim Goldsworthy, Pam Viscardo and Jason Steiner. McGhee also plays the trumpet, the organ, and water polo.
