Digital Passes at Acadia National Park?
It's true.
The U.S. Department of Interior has changed some aspects to national park passes, as we’ve earlier reported in November.
One of those changes is a digital America the Beautiful park pass.
Digital park passes can be purchased at Recreation.gov. When entering the park, it can be shown on your mobile device.
For 2026, the U.S. resident’s annual pass is $80 and seven-day pass is $35. People with citizenship in other countries will pay $250 for an annual pass and $130 per person for a seven-day pass.
The free days for U.S. residents are:
Presidents’ Day (Feb. 16)
Memorial Day (May 25)
Flag Day/President Trump’s birthday (June 14)
Independence Day weekend (July 3-5)
110th Birthday of the National Park Service (Aug. 25)
Constitution Day (Sept. 17)
Theodore Roosevelt’s birthday (Oct. 27)
Veterans Day (Nov. 11)
The America the Beautiful pass now features a photo of Presidents George Washington and Donald Trump.
