Frightfully Fun Halloween Events in Store for MDI!
The Bar Harbor Story is generously sponsored by Thrive Juice Bar & Kitchen.
MOUNT DESERT ISLAND—Halloween events begin today, and we’re going to update this as a separate article for those of you who are focused on the fights and delights going on around Mount Desert Island.
We’ll be updating this pretty constantly as we learn of more events. Those updates will be on our website here. If you don’t automatically see them, just go to the search option (a magnifying glass) on the top-right corner and type Halloween!
LEDGELAWN INFO!
For those of you who head to Bar Harbor to trick or treat, Sgt. Soren Sundberg says that the police department will close Ledgelawn Avenue again this year, Friday, October 31, for Halloween. The road will be closed to vehicle traffic from around 3:30 pm to 8:30 p.m. for the safety of pedestrians.
If you have an event we’ve missed, just let us know by hitting the “send a message” button below. We’ll add it here and in THINGS TO DO, which comes out on Mondays.
