MDI PHOTO CLUB
No strangers here — only friends you haven’t yet met
Interested in photography?
Want to hang out on Mount Desert Island with other people who are interested in photography, too?
”The MDI Photo Club is a group of about 50 people with a common interest in photography. Some are novices and others are advanced, but all enjoy taking pictures and learning from one another. Whether you shoot with a DSLR or an iPhone, you’ll find yourself in good company when you join the club,” its website reads.
It continues, “We are friendly, non-competitive, and serious about photography, but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from September to May at the Northeast Harbor Library for presentations and photo sharing. We also go on outings together to take pictures and socialize. In June we exhibit our photos for the public to enjoy.”
