TRENTON DAYS AND BUTTERFLY FESTIVAL!
TRENTON—You can dress up in your finest pollinator costume and be a part of the annual Trenton Days and Butterfly Festival that happens at the Trenton Elementary School and butterfly garden just before you hop onto Mount Desert Island.
The pollinator parade tends to be at noon. There are usually all sorts of activities for adults and kids, including learning about pollinators, touching a truck, and face painting.
Members of the Ellsworth Amateur Wireless Association (EAWA) (w1tu.org) usual participate in the national amateur radio Field Day exercise that’s often on that same weekend.
It’s all at the Trenton Elementary School off the Bar Harbor Road/Route 3.
